About Us

The Baltimore APA Chapter is a group of payroll professionals and other interested parties whose mission is to advance the payroll profession. We accomplish our mission through a combination of bi-monthly meetings, training and certification opportunities and networking.  Our bi-monthly meetings are usually held as an extended lunch at the BWI Marriott, conveniently located near the BWI Airport. These meetings create an opportunity for education and networking. We typically provide a speaker delivering a message that is pertinent to enhancing your job performance. These presentations usually provide CEU's for CPP and FPC certified individuals.

Once a year we host an all-day conference. This gives you a chance to pack more educational and networking (and a little fun along the way . . .) into one day. We also host a celebration during National Payroll Week to recognize the many contributions made throughout the year by payroll professionals.

We encourage you to join us as a local chapter member. As an autonomous and independent chapter of the American Payroll Association, membership in the local Baltimore chapter is independent of National APA membership. As an affiliated chapter, we do provide a reduced membership fee for APA National Members.
