Topic: Business Travelers: Big Challenge Meets Big Data

 Summary: This presentation will discuss management of global and domestic business travelers, compliance and withholding obligations triggered by business travelers, and monitoring compliance using data analytics to quantify exposures, perform risk assessment, and establish policy.


Robert Creighton is a Manager in the Global Employer Services Tax Practice at Deloitte Tax LLP and has over 10 years of experience dealing with the implications companies face as a result of a mobile cross-border workforce.  His clients range across various industries, include both US and foreign based companies, and have ranged from large companies with well-developed policies, procedures, and experience surrounding cross-border travel to smaller and younger companies entering new markets for the first time.   Examples of services Robert advises and assists clients with include global mobility tax compliance, global mobility compensation, global equity and rewards, business travelers, global pensions, and the Affordable Care Act.  Robert is a CPA licensed in Virginia and the District of Columbia.

  2. You can register others for the meeting by selecting the desired number of Member or Non-Member tickets.  Paid members may purchase tickets for members or non-members.  Non-members may only purchase non-member tickets.
  3. If you're a member registering other members, once you've selected your tickets, use the drop down to select the member(s) you want to register.  By default, your name will populate for each ticket .  The list is sorted alpha by last name.
  4. For non-members, type in the name and email address (optional) of each attendee.
  5. Once you've selected (or typed in) your attendees, click "Continue" to complete your payment.
  6. Each attendee will receive a registration confirmation email.
