The current economy is like riding on a roller coaster. What’s the best way to not only survive that ride, but enjoy it? Networking of course.

Networking within and outside your own organization is an important piece of not only maintaining and building your career, but also helping you achieve your personal goals.

Networking: Why and How to?

Session Overview

It’s true that networking outside your company (such as finding a new job, establishing business relationships or making new friends) is important for your career. At the same time, it’s also very important for you to network within your organization.

Networking both within and outside your organization can help you build important relationships, find your next job, get Ravens tickets, stand out, receive a promotion or excel in your role.

Over the course of an hour and a half participants will learn:

  • Why network
  • Benefits of networking
  • Where to network
  • How to network and tips:  5 rules of networking
  • How to track and measure your networking success

1.5 Recertification Credit Hours (RCH) will be awarded to CPP and FPC professionals for this meeting.

CCPA registration and cancellation policy: Meeting registrations are transferable. Cancellations are allowed up to the deadline for the early registration date (February 15th) and are subject to a cancellation fee of $10.00. Cancellations after this date are not refundable and the full cost of the event is due.

 Notes regarding the registration process and our new web site: 

  1. As before, in order to register for our meetings you must be registered with and logged into our web site.  Click here if you need to register with our site. 
  2. You can register others for the meeting, but only those who are also registered with our web site.  Once you confirm your information you'll be presented with the option to purchase tickets for each member category for which you are eligible to purchase.  To purchase more than one ticket, click on the "Add to cart"  button multiple times for each ticket category you wish to purchase. 
  3. Paid members may purchase tickets for other paid members and guest members.  Guest members may only purchase tickets for other guest members. 
  4. Once you've selected your tickets, use the drop down to select the member(s) you want to register.  By default, your name will populate for each ticket .  The list is sorted alpha by last name.
  5. Once you've selected your attendees, click "Continue" to complete your payment.
  6. Only you will receive a registration confirmation email.
